Cylinder Certification Laboratory LTD was established in 1994 by CD & JK Knudsen in partnership with JH & AM Darnley

The laboratory was established to test LPG, dive fire extinguisher and various other types of cylinders.

In March 1997, CD & JF Knudsen bought all the company shares of Cylinder Certification and the laboratory began to trade as a division of Imtest laboratory Ltd

In November 2003, C-Test Ltd was established and the cylinder testing division of Imtest was sold to C-Test Ltd. The equipment and test personnel were transferred to C-Test Ltd

In March 2010, C-Test Ltd was sold to SAI Global and SAI Global (NZ) Ltd was established. The equipment and test personnel were transferred to SAI Global (NZ) Ltd

In July 2019 the laboratory was sold to Holmes Solutions who in turn sold the laboratory to Under Pressure Testing Ltd.

The new owner ( Nigel Bowley ) joined the business in 2001 and is now the proud owner of Under Pressure Testing Ltd
